Hi, I'm Luke, owner & audio engineer at Anchorhead Studio. I've been in the audio production world for over 15 years. Way back when, as a teenager, I purchased Logic Pro to record and produce my own songs and have never looked back!
Since those early days, I've worked on numerous productions, learned a lot, and absolutely love what I do. I am super passionate about creating heavy, hard-hitting mixes that bring out the best in an artist. I'm also a guitarist, songwriter and member of Kavalkade, a melodic death metal band from the Bay Area.
Audio Production Is My Passion
Something special happens when you're listening to a record and the smack of the snare hits you. Or the chunky, aggressive, colorful rhythm section makes your face melt. It's those moments that made me want to recreate that magic for myself and work as an audio engineer.
A recording that sounds great will bring out the best in any artist. It's a stamp in time to say "This is who we are, this is what we can do!"
